Mommy's Notes...

Savannah has been doing so many different things the past month it has been unreal. Her vocabulary has really expanded and she is most definitely talking more than ever (wonder where she gets that from??) She can crawl up on our couch alone now. She loves to sing with us. She knows "Ashes, Ashes, we all fall down" and sings it quite a bit! Two nights ago in the bathtub she started singing "Bus, Mommy says shh, shhh, shh" from The Wheels on the Bus. She LOVES to play "kitchen" and make believe with her friends, The Backyardigans. She always likes to offer them whatever she is eating or drinking and also likes for them to sing and dance with us. Just yesterday she was putting them down for a nap and covering them with her silky! She is still crazy over her pacis and her silky. We are *thinking* about potty training but have not introduced her to it yet. She pretty much knows ALL of her family members' names and calls for them often. Dwayne has really taught her all of her basic colors and this week she got them all right three different times! She is so much fun and learns so much so quickly. We can ask her how she is feeling and we taught her to say, "Fantastic!". Savannah send lots of love your way!

Trying to hold all of my friends at one time

Mommy finally snapped one with Aunts Stacey and Holly, even if I am not smiling :)

Aunt Stacey and Aunt Holly (and the boys) gave me a Mickey Mouse Clubhouse AND a kitchen set for Christmas. I love them sooo much and Mommy says we are so lucky to have them to watch me! I agree!!

The Holidays

New bike from Papa Ed

Christmas with Ashley

The holidays were wonderful, but the time went by too fast! We had family with us almost the entire time. I LOVED having my godsister, Ashley, here to play with. I didn't even know what to do Christmas morning there was soooooo much stuff! I did have fun getting in my stocking that Santa left. I had a few hours with Mommy and Daddy and then Memaw, Papaw, Uncles Don and Tim, and Grandma Cindi and Grandpa Merle came down. We had a wonderful day! The next day Aunt Steph came down and on Friday Aunt Lisa and Uncle Dave came down. I was certainly spoiled by all three of them. Mommy has sooooo much fun with Aunts Steph and Lisa. They love playing with me and give me crazy kisses!! I visited Memaw's for New Year's and then I had Christmas with Aunt Stacey, Holly and the boys. I also had Christmas time with Aaron and Natalie and Amanda, Mike and Emerson. My mommy says I am so loved and so lucky!

"News In My World"

  • I am CRAZY for The Backyardigans-I have all 5 of them, numerous toys and have to have them around at all times. I especially LOVE Pablo and Tyrone. The first thing Mommy and Daddy hear from me is usually, "I wanna watch Pablo!"

  • I am saying 2-4 word sentences now and will repeat just about anything. I heard Mommy say "Sh*t", so of course, I said it, too and everyone laughed. Watch out!!!!

  • I love my new puzzles and can fit the shapes in where they go.

  • I am learning to recognize shapes, colors and many more objects.

  • We sing everyday and I LOVE for Mommy to sing.

  • I am getting better at letting Mommy and Daddy read to me and I sit still.

Lots of love,

Savannah Jane

Happy 21 mth Birthday to me!!!!
We had a super busy time last weekend! On Friday night, we saw the Baxters and Moshiers and I got a beautiful silver bracelet from Sarah and Avery. On Saturday, we had Christmas with Leigh, Roger, Hank and Caroline. They gave me an Aquadoodle!!! Hank fed me yummy green cookies and we both had green tongues. I loved playing with Hank and Sissy. Mommy and Daddy tried to get me to see Santa, but NO WAY!!!!!! I tricked them-I begged and cried to see him and when it was my turn, I CRIED, " No, Mommy, No!" I did not get a picture with Santa! On Sunday, we had Christmas with Aaron and Natalie. They gave me a baby doll, book and cute outfit. I am sooo spoiled!! I have already had so much fun with Christmas and Santa hasn't even came yet.

December Fun

We put up the tree last weekend and SJ loved it! She loved looking at the ornaments (especially the Sesame Street ones!) She also loves the singing Rudolph that we have. It is so wonderful to have a child around...it really brings out the Christmas spirit! We will be going to see Santa this coming week. We'll see how that goes!

Thanksgiving 2007

We went up to Norfolk, Va and got to visit with the Judd side of the family. We stayed with Aunt Lisa and Uncle Dave. I got to sleep on the air mattress with Mommy. I LOVED that! Plus, I got to say up later than usual. We saw Aunt Steph, Uncle Chico, Aunt Susan, Aunt Delores, George, Uncles Bobby, Skip, and Aunts Raylene and Margie. Mommy doesn't have many pictures because she left her camera at Uncle Chico's most of the visit. We stayed from Tuesday night until Saturday and although I had a blast, I was SO HAPPY to get home to MY STUFF!!

New things I am saying:
  • I want Mommy (Mommy eats this up!)

  • I want... (my favorite is I want cheese)

  • Happy

  • Loves you

  • Holds you (Mommy makes me say this all the time before she picks me up)
  • HO, HO, HO-for what Santa says

  • I will repeat almost anything you say...WATCH OUT!!!

New things I am doing:

  • Saying what comes next when doing the ABC song :)
  • Saying what comes next when counting ( I know six comes after five and eight comes after seven!)
  • I am getting way too interested in TV for my Mommy! I have been looking at Christmas shows! :)
  • I know where all the foods I like are and how to try and get them.

Five Generations

Mommy's great-grandma, Myrtle Mac, is almost 105 years old! We went for a visit and she LOVED seeing me. I hammed it up at the nursing home. Everyone laughed so hard at me spinning and dancing. :)
